It promotes all round total health, as well as helping particular medical conditions. Yoga offers an excellent training program for the purpose of maintaining one’s health. Regular practice of yoga helps not only in developing a physical fitness but also in preventing the occurrence of many ailments which invariably result from hectic pace of modern life style.

According to yoga tradition there are five dimensions to human body they are physical, physiological, intellectual, emotional and spiritual. Yoga literally has tools to work on all of these levels. It is one of the original systems of what we currently describe as a holistic approach to health care. While specific conditions can be addressed in varying degree, the focus is always on the person as a whole.

Yoga has a complete message for humanity, human body, human mind and human spirit. It is a methodological effort towards self perfection by the development of the potentialities, latent in the individual. It is a process by which the limitations and imperfections can be washed away resulting in a superhuman race.

Yoga is an aid to establishing a new way of life, which embraces both inner and outer realities.</span>
